FRONT OF HOUSE / OFFICE MANAGER

We are looking for someone with confidence and enthusiasm to join our lovely team in London Fields. Previous front of house and administrative experience required.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Greeting all clients and visitors in a prompt, polite and efficient manner and looking after them while they are waiting in the reception area.

  • Handling all incoming telephone calls and general emails, re-directing accurately and appropriately.

  • Managing social media and website activity.

  • Financial tasks such as VAT RETURN, staff expenses and petty cash.

  • Invoice processing.

  • Pensions and benefits administration.

  • Oversee stock levels and replenish.

  • Managing courier and taxi journeys/deliveries, both incoming and outgoing.

  • Sorting incoming and outgoing post.

  • Assist in planning company events; booking transport and accommodation.

  • Managing improvements to the facility.

Essential skills

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Reception/Front of House role.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Sense of Initiative.

  • Good telephone manner.

  • Thorough, organised, with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Able to prioritise effectively under pressure.

  • Professional conduct and well presented.

  • Ability to negotiate.

  • Friendly demeanour, keen to build relationships with staff and clients.

  • Reliability and discretion.

  • Punctual.

  • IT skills, Mac literate including Office software, emails, internet researching, and social media.
