Jonny’s naturalistic style has enabled him to work with clients such as Adidas, Net-A-Porter, Burberry, Lurpak, Nike, Netflix and Toyota. A versatile and creative colourist with a wide ranging portfolio, he approaches every job with the same passion and enthusiasm; always pushing to bring out the best in the material whilst remaining respectful to the photography.
The promos he’s graded cover a diverse range of artists including Nina Simone, Stormzy, Arlo Parks, Louis Tomlinson, Bastille, Rick Astley, and Liam Gallagher. His work with DoP David Wright on ‘Inglorious’ for slowthai, which was shot digitally and printed to film, won a cinematography and colour grading award, firmly placing him as an innovative, highly-desirable colourist.
As well as receiving colour awards at Kinsale and Thunderdance, Jonny has worked on multiple BAFTA recognised short films, including 'Roy' which featured in the BAFTA 2022 longlist, 'Love Languages' which featured on the 2023 BAFTA Best British Short longlist, and 'An Irish Goodbye' which won the 2023 Best Live Action Short Film Academy Award as well as the Best Short Film BAFTA.
